Can you cover me for public liability insurance?

We can offer public liability insurance, however you will be pleased to know that Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance is included within your DIA membership with a limit of indemnity of £25 million for no extra charge.

How do I make any changes to my policy?

To amend your policy, call us on 01227 285550, select option 1, and one of our specialist advisors will be happy to help you. You must update any details as soon as your circumstances change. Inaccurate information could invalidate your policy.

Will my courtesy car have dual controls?

Yes – we understand that it is essential for you to have a courtesy car that keeps your business moving, so all courtesy cars provided by us have dual controls. We have UK-wide vehicle distribution centres and aim to get a replacement car out to you as close as possible to 24 hours from an incident.

Can my no-claims bonus be transferred from a previous driving school employer?

If you have worked for a previous driving school franchise, a letter from them to prove your no claims should be enough to transfer the bonus to us. Please speak to a member of our team for more information.

Can I pay in instalments?

We do accept payment by instalments on policies. If you would like to discuss our flexible payment options further, please request a call-back from an insurance advisor.

Do I need to be ADI qualified? Do you offer cover for PDI’s?

Yes - as well as ADI cover, we offer cover for PDIs who have passed stages 1, 2, and 3 of their training. PDI cover is not often available elsewhere.

Do I have to be a full-time driving instructor?

No - we can tailor your policy to account for the proportion of time you spend working as a driving instructor. Insuring with us can give you the flexibility to work part-time or have another paid occupation.

What do I do if I’m involved in an accident and how do I make a claim?
